Lexus is targeting younger buyers with its smallest SUV to date. The UX is designed as a rival to the BMW X2, Jaguar E-Pace and Volvo XC40, and will be offered with a choice of petrol and hybrid powertrains.
Both will come with a ‘Direct Shift-CVT’ automatic box that is said to offer the smoothness and efficiency of a CVT, but with a more direct, responsive driving feel.
